Der kompakte Rosenkamm und der volle Kinn- und Backenbart machen dieses Huhn sehr k\u00e4lteresistent. Jedoch gibt diese Art im Verh\u00e4ltnis zu normalen Legehennen weniger Eier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rasse des Jahres 2020: Appenzeller Barthuhn <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bedrohte Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Appenzeller Barth\u00fchner sind vom Aussterben bedroht. Betriebe wie unserer sind deshalb sehr wichtig f\u00fcr die Artenerhaltung. Um den Nachwuchs zu gew\u00e4hrleisten br\u00fcten wir die Eier unserer H\u00fchner auf dem Hof aus.  <a href=\"http:\/\/biohof-husmatt.ch\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/barthuhn.mp4\">Video<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">F\u00fctterung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unsere H\u00fchner haben die M\u00f6glichkeit den Tag durch frei um den Hof herumzulaufen und ern\u00e4hren sich daher haupts\u00e4chlich von Gras und Insekten. Zus\u00e4tzlich bekommen sie noch Getreidemehl und K\u00f6rner im Stall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><script
